Garage Sale Oz is not a business. It is just us as private individuals clearing our collected stuff from decades of family changes.
Our returns or refunds policy is very basic.
- All sales are final.
- All items are used.
- All items may or may not be working.
- All items are fully described in the listing.
We will only accept returns for one of the following reasons:
- The item we sent is not the item pictured in the listing. Namely, we messed up and send a vase instead of a toy car.
Yep, that is the only reason.
If you get a product that is not working, then that is what you bought. All items may or may not be working. We do not guarantee operating condition for anything. The opposite is true. If you get something and it works exactly as you hoped then that is good. If not then you got exactly what we sold.
So the idea of a refund is unlikely.
Think of it as a Garage Sale on your street or in your suburb.
You buy something and take it home. It is yours, you don’t take it back a week later to complain, or at least you shouldn’t.

Our Locality is Moonta in South Australia. Yes local pickup is an option but not viable for 90% of Australia.
Why do we have a website? Only because we find it the easiest method for us to manage the thousands of items we have to contend with.
