A Savings Bank SA SBSA Fat Cat Treasure Chest Green Plastic Coin Money Box c1975.

This Plastic Money Box or Coin Bank will be from the mid-1970’s , although I was unable to locate any specific details of the issue. Condition is good to very good but please review the photographs carefully.

Fat Cat was a childrens television character from 1972 to the 1990’s depending on which channel or state TV station was licencing the character at the time. So the money box must be mid-1970’s or later.

This one is a re-usable type with the base bung or plug still attached. It is different from, and I suspect earlier, than the issue labelled as State Bank with TVW Enterprises branded. This one has no branding other than for the SBSA Bank. The bung is a round plug while the other design has a rectangular bung.
